The chances of food poisoning is directly tied to your character's Hygiene stat. Your characters will always prioritize their needs in that order and thus will frequently cause food poisoning. Antibiotics doesn't do anything for food poisoning, it's to fix a broken conditions atm called 'illness. It happens when your characters are dirty and wounded for an extended period of time, particularly when sleeping. The only way to cure food poisoning is keeping clean and lots of bedrest and fluids.
