And its mostly full I for one will go with "getting it right the first time" as opposed to "the latitude of RAW", thank you. I shoot boxing. There's no way in hell I'm going to shoot upwards of shots in RAW.
There's no advantage in it for me, and plenty of drawbacks. I took some ISO pics the other night while I was goofing of, tethering my camera to my laptop with the Canon software. It was dark enough that I would have normally reached for a speedlite. While isn't something I'd want to use all the time it I don't think I'd shy away from it if I absolutely had to use it.
